While we are still a few months out from #BlogHer16: Experts Among Us in sunny Los Angeles, some of you are looking at your calendars and realizing that you won’t be able to take advantage of the amazing programming, fantastic keynote speakers like Sarah Michelle Gellar and Mayim Bialik, thrilling sponsors, and stellar networking that is ALWAYS a part of #BlogHer events!
If you’ve already purchased a ticket but are no longer able to attend, BIG BUMMER – we will definitely miss you! Check out the steps below to transfer your ticket to a new attendee.
Important Note: Ticket transfers are free of charge until June 30, 2016, 11:59pm Pacific Time. After that date, #BlogHer16 will still accommodate transfers, but there will be a $50 administrative charge.
Step 1: Find a new person for your ticket. The Official Facebook Group is a GREAT place to do this – there is already a “OMG My Plans Have Changed & I Need to Buy / Sell a Ticket” doc under FILES. Any transfer of payment should be handled independently between yourself and the new ticketholder.
Step 2: Once you have a new person for your ticket, the ticket seller should email Registration@SheKnows.com, granting permission for their ticket to be transferred. Please remember that Student tickets may only be sold or given to students and Blogger/influencer tickets may only be sold or given to Bloggers/Influencers.
Step 3: The ticket buyer will need to complete the #BlogHer16: Experts Among Us Ticket Transfer Form
After July 1, 2016, the Buyer will need to submit the $50 transfer charge to complete this form submission.
Step 4: The Registration Department will verify permissions and payment (if needed) and process the transfer. The ticket buyer will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite. At that time, the transfer has been complete! Please log in to your Eventbrite Account and update the remaining Registration questions with your information and be sure to decide whether you are interested in participating in Sponsor Activities!
