Hello friends! It's Friday and time for The Wrap!
This week I am going to start with a bit of a tease...yup, I'm going "vague-post" and I strongly suggest that you watch for a BIG announcement next Friday, May 6 at about 4:30 pm Pacific time.
On to event news...
As you know we are accepting submissions for Voices of the Year (VOTY) and the deadline is approaching quickly (May 8). We thought the best way to share with you the power and importance of VOTY was to share James Oliver, Jr.'s experience as a VOTY presenter in 2015. James explains what it was like to be "conference-famous" and what happened after being on the Voices of the Year stage. It's a beautiful post and worth the read. If you haven't submitted your work for VOTY, you will want to after reading this post.
In addition to planning all things #BlogHer16, we are heads down and knee deep (in a good way) on all things #BlogHerFood16.
We want to make sure you are keeping track of us on Instagram as we post fabulous food fotos (I know, that's not how to spell photos, I was on a roll) and prepare you for a fun filled (HELP! I'm out of control) adventure in Austin.

Lori has been working with the Events team for about 4 years now as our Marketing Communications Manager and now as our Conference Editor.
